2. Data on your iPhone
The app stores player and team names, colours, scores, dart entries, turns, history, the current game, settings and free-access state on your device. You can use nicknames. No DartMate account is needed; we do not operate a game-data server or cloud leaderboard.
Scoring does not require the camera, microphone, contacts, location or photo library. The app has no custom advertising or usage-analytics SDK. We do not receive your gameplay or screen-view events.
Deleting the app can remove local records; offloading may keep them. Device backups and transfers depend on your Apple settings. We cannot remotely read, recover or erase a game stored only on your iPhone. Removing data does not cancel a subscription.
3. Purchases and Apple
Apple handles payments. StoreKit supplies product prices, offer eligibility and verified purchase status so the app can unlock or restore Plus. We do not receive payment-card numbers or run a purchase-validation server. Apple may provide developer sales or diagnostic reports under its own services and your Apple settings.
4. Support messages
If you email us, we receive your address, sender name, message and attachments. We use them to answer you, investigate problems and handle privacy requests or legal obligations. Email providers process the correspondence for delivery and storage. Sending a support request does not subscribe you to marketing. Support emails sent to our domain are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox operated by Google.
Send only what is needed; remove unrelated player names from screenshots. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details. Routine correspondence is deleted within 12 months after the request is closed, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires relevant information to be retained longer. Provider backups can follow a different deletion schedule.
5. Website delivery and optional measurement
We host this website with Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection and request data, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser headers, to deliver pages and protect the website. Google Analytics runs only after you allow analytics cookies. Google Ads measurement is currently disabled.
The website is prepared for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. On a configured public site, Analytics measures page views and defined interactions; Advertising measurement measures website-to-App-Store clicks associated with advertising. The two choices are independent. Neither is required to use the site. Relevant Google tags remain blocked until consent. Personalized advertising stays off.
After consent, Google can receive cookie identifiers, permitted page and event details, campaign information, browser information and network information such as IP address. Our events exclude player names, game history, email addresses, arbitrary query strings and fragments. Data is not described as anonymous. A click does not prove an app installation, trial or payment.
6. Cookies, consent and retention
A necessary preference record stores your choices, policy version and date for up to 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement, clears accessible measurement cookies and may reload the page. It does not automatically delete data already received by Google.
Cookie duration and Google account retention settings are separate. Our Google Analytics property retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The user-data retention period restarts when the user returns and new activity is recorded. These settings do not limit most standard reports using aggregated data. Local app records remain under your device and backup controls. Security records are retained only as needed for service protection and legal duties.
7. Purposes, recipients and international processing
Where applicable, we rely on contract performance for requested services; legitimate interests for support, security and necessary operations; legal obligations for required records; and consent for optional analytics or advertising measurement. Accepting the Terms is not consent to optional measurement.
Recipients depend on the activity: Apple for purchases; email and hosting providers for correspondence and delivery; Google for separately consented measurement; and authorities or advisers where required for legal obligations or claims. Providers may process data outside your country or the EEA/UK, using applicable adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about relevant safeguards. We do not sell personal information or use it for personalized advertising.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to processing or withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]. We respond within the applicable deadline; GDPR requests normally receive a response within one month, with any permitted extension explained. Proportionate identity verification may be needed.
You may complain to the competent authority, including the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. Contacting us first is not required. We cannot erase Apple account records, another recipient’s copies or data stored only on your device.
9. Children, security and changes
DartMate is a general-audience scoring tool. Minors need the parental involvement required by law for purchases and support. We do not operate child accounts or knowingly retain children’s information without required authorization. Contact us about information that should be removed.
Protect your device and accounts. No service can guarantee absolute security. Public hosting must use HTTPS. We update the revision date when practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required; continued use alone does not authorize a new optional purpose.
