Choose New game, select 301 or 501 and add player names. Individual play supports 1–8 players. Choose one game, first to 2 wins or first to 3 wins, then decide whether to use Double out.
Play on a physical dartboard. Tap the location of each hit on the app’s board and confirm the turn. The app calculates the score; it does not detect darts with your camera.
A score does not look right
Check whether the dart landed in a single, double or triple. Use Undo or edit the entered dart to correct a tap. Record a miss when the dart did not score.
If the turn resets, check the Double out setting. With it enabled, scoring too much, leaving 1, or reaching zero without a double is a bust. The score returns to the beginning of that turn. The guide below walks through examples.
Pause and return
Save a game to continue it later on the same iPhone. Player names, settings and match history are stored on your device; no DartMate account is required.
DartMate does not provide a cloud account or cloud sync for your game history. Avoid deleting the app as a first troubleshooting step if you want to keep local games.
What Plus includes
The app starts with limited free play. Plus unlocks continued play, teams and the bust guide. Teams support 2–4 teams, with 1–4 players on each team. Plans, prices and any eligible trial are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Purchases take place through Apple’s in-app purchase flow. If an existing purchase is not recognized, use the app’s restore-purchases option and check that you are using the same Apple Account that made the purchase. An internet connection may be needed for purchase-related actions.
Manage a subscription or ask Apple for a refund
To manage an Apple-billed subscription on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select the subscription to see the available options. Apple’s current instructions are linked below.
Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases go through Apple. Eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable rules; a refund is not guaranteed. This website does not collect card details or manage your Apple billing account.
Useful details when reporting a problem
